Cool events to check out this week...

The Marshall Society and Business Lab is hosting its monthly Lunch and Learn on Thursday, November 19th from 11:00-12:30pm in VKC 156 and there will be FREE LUNCH! This event is open to everyone and anyone so please feel free to RSVP and invite your friends.

The guest speaker will be
Craig Scott, Product Planning Manager - Environmental Vehicles at Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A. Craig Scott holds an MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business and heads the team of designers that create Toyota’s environmental vehicles, including the hybrid Prius. Toyota spends an average of nearly one million dollars an hour on R&D to develop the cars and technologies of the future - cars that deliver higher fuel economy with lower vehicle emissions. Ten percent of Toyota’s U.S. sales are hybrids and Toyota has sold nearly 75% of all the hybrids in America so far. Craig Scott plays a vital role in the success of Toyota’s green vehicles. Come hear about what future plans Toyota has for green vehicles!

Environmental Volunteer Opportunities THIS SATURDAY!
November Friends and Neighbors Service Day
Looking for an opportunity to volunteer with fellow Trojans? Want to help the local community? The November Friends and Neighbors Service Day will take place on Saturday, November 21st (8am-noon) .
Friends and Neighbors Service Days are oneday volunteer projects designed to introduce members of the USC community to social service agencies that address social, political, and cultural issues found in Los Angeles. These service events take place on Saturdays throughout the school year and provide a great opportunity to meet fellow students as well as get involved in the surrounding community.
On November 21st, students, alumni, faculty, and staff will have the opportunity to volunteer at sites throughout the Los Angeles community. The projects for this service day will revolve around various social issues including:
· Art and culture
· Beautification
· Environmental
· Friendly visiting
· Shelter
· Youth
